school authorities in the Japanese city of Osaka have decided the benefits outweigh the disadvantages and will now be RFID chipping children in one primary school. The tags will be read by readers installed in school gates and other key locations to track the kids' movements. The chips will be put onto kids' schoolbags, name tags or clothing

After dogs, clothes and products, humans and before we know it everybody will be tracking and tracing everybody. The problem with such a technology is that it isn't used know for big brother purposes, but that it could be used by a dictator or semi-democrat in the future.
