trust nobody in the digital world, even not a central bank

the russian central bank has lost 60GB of data of transactions between 2003 and 2004
the russian newspaper says it is by hacking, but maybe they've lost a tape or a server or somebody copied it
the data are now being sold on the internet for a mere 1000 dollars
normally this kind of financial institutions should have an absolute foolproof digital security because otherwise the 'trust' relationships on which on our international financial system is being built is being compromised
