how to block Google's webaccelerator
It shows a page and graphics to use if you block on your proxy or site access by the webaccelerator that Google released. It is advertised as a tool that speeds up your websurfing (but forgets to say it will only do that with static pages, so about only half of your normal webtraffic and only if the webservers themselves accept it).
The article also argues why we shouldn't use it (privacy) and why it is not conform with the standards it ought to be using. It doesn't respect the robot.txt format which excludes sites or private pages from proxies (so they can't deliver pages for free that should be paid each time, for example).
