But people like former journalists that find that wikipedia is used for character assassination and that the organisers for that community and tool refuse to do anything to make that harder or even correct the issue, make that this makes this kind of argument more and more unacceptable.
in this post the author said we should not ban it (from schools for example) but learn people to interpret web materials and not to give it instant credibility.
agree, wikipedia is not an encyclopedia. There is maybe interesting material in it, but how to get through the waste and find the good material is a whole other matter and to get the knowledge to make that difference, you have to turn to .... an encyclopedia.
